Let’s think about January 12th 
And say what we felt
Make of it a memorial day
To think of those who passed away

Goodoo! Goodoo!
One hundred times two hundreds
Goodoo! Goodoo!
Two thousand times two hundreds

It’s the worst Haitian nightmare
of which we were not aware
Because we do not know really
Every piece, every detail of our history

On that day, ignorance made of scream
Everyone was victim
Where were we yesterday?
where are we today?

We are all concerned, and from that day
Each one of us has a role to play
Let’s put hands together as volunteer!
And rebuild our mother country with cheer!!!

Goodoo-Goodoo did not kill anyone, but we thought too little!
